The work of Boris Vitázek and Zuzana Sabová first occurred as a response to the space in the backyard of Fuga in Bratislava. Since that, however, it has developed into a unique work that occurred at Nuit Blanche in Košice and at the Signal festival in Prague. Paintings of 6 to 12 meters are moved by live projection generated along with the music. There is no beginning no end to the projection – it exists as an ambient meditation about dance and religious ritual. Figures inspired by paintings with religious and profane scenes move in a slow rhythm and incidentally interact.
Zuzana Sabová is a graduate of graphic design (2010) but in her authorial works, she transcends the scope of 2D graphic output. In graphic letters, objects and installations she emphasizes the so-called storiness of material – she accentuates the processuality of the creation of a work, the dimension of time is also present in her static works.
Boris Vitázek (Department of Intermedia and Multimedia) realizes his work mostly in digital environment where he creates his own visual worlds that are accessible to the audience as video installations or in the form of a computer game with an authorial concept. He is also known in the music club scene as a Vj with a distinctive authorial attitude, moving the borders of vjing to gaming environment.
